JEFFERSON CITY – Abortion rights opponents could see an initiative next year that could effectively ban the procedure in Missouri with several exceptions.
The Elliot Institute — an Illinois-based organization opposed to abortion rights — submitted ballot item language to the Secretary of State’s office late last month.
