FRANKFORT, Ky. — State Rep. Brandon Spencer resigned his state House seat late yesterday, opening the door to the possibility that Attorney General Greg Stumbo will return to the House.
Spencer, a Democrat from Floyd County, represents the same district Stumbo represented in the House for 23 years. Stumbo served many of those years as floor leader for the Democratic majority.
