Like many football fans, I was greatly disappointed when I sat down to watch the then-undefeated Cowboys versus the still-undefeated Patriots to find out that the game of the year was not going to be televised! Well, unless you had the NFL Channel, which prior to the purchase of the hi-def tv we did not. The NFL is reaching out to state legislatures to encourage them to support legislation requiring cable companies to put the NFL Channel on their basic channel schedule. legislation forcing cable companies to carry a certain channel? what, does the NFL not like to play by the same rules as every other network on cable? No wonder they let the Patriots off so easily, they’re cheaters themselves!
