MEMPHIS – Sen. Ophelia Ford is still in the hospital, and a family member says it’s not certain she will be able to attend when the Legislature goes into session next week.
Her brother, Joe Ford, told The Associated Press on Thursday that the senator has been treated for about a month at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. He declined to provide details on her illness.
