Doyle took his case to the Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s office–which recently filed suit against nine businesses for alleged home repair fraud–but again was advised to pursue his civil case on his own.Moga maintains he did no wrong.”There was no pay the first half of the year,” Moga said when reached by phone. “There was no pay, so there was no work done.”When asked about Doyle’s canceled checks that total more than $30,000 in the first six months of 2007, Moga said, “You can call my lawyer.”
Doyle and Moga are next due in court Thursday.
