Gosh – Democrat A.G. Marc Dann is such an improvement over his predecessor. The differences are just so stark.
Attorney General Marc Dann’s debt collectors squeezed 1 percent more money from delinquent taxpayers, college-loan recipients, employers and other scofflaws last year, Dann said yesterday. The attorney general’s office, which recovers debts on behalf of state agencies, took in $329 million last year, surpassing the previous high of $325 million in 2006, Dann said.
Dann took office in early 2007 after defeating a better-known opponent by promising to end corruption in state government.
