Alabama voters with election law questions or complaints related to Tuesday’s primary voting can contact the state attorney general’s office hotline: 1-800-831-8814.
An attorney specializing in election law will take calls Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The AG’s office will answer questions, examine any allegations of election fraud, and actively investigate any legitimate complaints of wrongdoing in the presidential primary election, Attorney General Troy King said in a statement.
King said the law requires that an absentee ballot must be witnessed by two adults or be notarized in order to be counted as a legal ballot.
