Look at this – a big bi-partisan hug on ending those “annoying” robo-calls. At least the folks in Colorado got to hear from Jack Nicholson on their automated calls.
DENVER — Colorado’s attorney general is urging the state legislature to pull the plug on so-called robocalls as the election season heats up.The automated calls use a computer to dial telephone numbers then play a recorded message when someone answers.According to John Suthers, Senate Bill 146 will prohibit the use of automated dialing systems to make robocalls to Coloradans, with several notable exceptions. Violators would be fined $2,500 per offense under the legislation.
