OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – The new speaker of the state House of Representatives says he’ll bring a bipartisan approach to the job.
Republican Representative Chris Benge (BENJ) says he wants to bring Republicans and Democrats closer together after tree years of GOP control of the House.
Democrats have accused Republican leaders of partisan politics for refusing to hear Democrat-sponsored legislation but Democratic Representative Danny Morgan says he expects that to change.
