An overly political play on a personal matter. Classless.
George Anderson’s Ethics in Government Group has filed a complaint against House Speaker Glenn Richardson, alleging the politician used his influence to “obtain favoritism, unlawful/illegal gain, and control of the Judicial system of the State of Georgia.” Anderson, of Rome, singles out Richardson’s treatment of several lawmakers who were punished for defying him on a key vote.
Richardson’s recent divorce proceedings and acceptance of contributions are also called into question.
