PORTLAND – Joan Cohen announced this week she would seek election to the state House of Representatives in District 113.The seat, which represents North Deering and part of Falmouth, is expected to be vacated by Rep. John Brautigam, D-Falmouth.Brautigam said he plans to finish his second term in the Legislature this year and then focus on a campaign to become Maine attorney general. The position is elected by the Legislature.
Current Attorney General Steven Rowe is expected to be a Democratic candidate for governor in 2010.
