The outcome of this race is being closely watched by too many folks to mention OUTSIDE of the state of New York.
ALBANY — The Republican candidate in Tuesday’s hotly contested special election for a vacant State Senate seat will also be listed on the ballot as the candidate of the Independence Party, the state’s highest court ruled on Monday.In a tight race like this one, having an affiliation with the Independence Party — the state’s third largest political party— could help determine the outcome.
