Wisconsinites with involuntary mental health commitments will find it hard to buy a gun under a bill endorsed Wednesday.The Assembly’s Criminal Justice Committee passed a bill to let the state report those commitments to a federal database, the one gun dealers use when checking the backgrounds of prospective buyers.
