Attorney General Martha Coakley says the Archdiocese of Boston should give up control of its financially struggling chain of 6 eastern Massachusetts hospitals.
Coakley says a three-month review also suggests the Caritas Christi Health Care System should revamp physician compensation to better compensate productive doctors.
The AG’s recommendations say the archdiocese can maintain control of moral and ethical issues, but hand over all management matters.
