Remember when…

Way back in September when the Democrat AGs group got involved in that
little tussle between the two Democrat candidates for attorney general in
Wisconsin?  And remember when we said that involvement could have significant
post primary day implications
?  Well it’s all happening.

But it
is unclear whether national Democratic groups that backed Lautenschlager in the
primary will come through for Falk now.

The
Democratic Attorneys General Association, for example, spent $100,000 to help
Lautenschlager during the primary, at which time Falk branded them as an
out-of-state special interest group.

“I
have met with them and asked for their help and asked for their support
individually,” Falk said. “I think they like me, but what they are
doing is what I don't know.”

I wonder what she’ll
be saying if that out of state special interest group, heck she could call them
shady, pops a check for $21,000 into her campaign, and throws up another
$100,000 (though she should insist on at least $200,000) of paid media for
her.

This
will be fun to watch
.

You betcha J.B. Van Hollen
is enjoying this little drama.
