This is not the first time Michigan’s Republican A.G. has brought openness in government to the front of the debate. This is one of those rare circumstances where good policy and good politics mix perfectly.
Michigan’s Attorney General wants to make it easier for residents to know what is happening behind the scenes in the state government.Mike Cox is calling on the state house to take action on the government transparency bill.
The bill would put the state government budget online and accessible to the public.
