And we don’t mean this kind of attack(you really gotta see this).

We swear we’re not making this up. At about 1:30pm Eastern Time today a hacker(s) attempted to break into the State News Shot and disrupt the delivery of state and local news and commentary to you the reader.

We’re still gathering details from the authorities, and will back with more updates on just what happened. The SNS – you can’t stop it – you can only hope to contain it.

UPDATE – 3:47 PM EASTERN TIME:

Our crack server technicians tell us that the SNS servers were attacked from multiple, unknown sources – a proxy attack they call it – this afternoon.  Fortunately,  our top notch security team was all over the attack and got us back up and running in short order.
