Arizona authorities have received 61 reports of abuse involving children in the polygamist community of Colorado City since 2000, according to records obtained by a newspaper.
The Arizona Republic said the state’s Child Protective Services workers were able to verify the specific allegations that prompted their investigations in only 10 cases.
Most of the reports to CPS related to physical abuse or neglect _ not sexual abuse, such as underage marriages, incest or forced sex.
Of the 21 abuse reports from 2006 to the present, only three involved sexual abuse, said Ken Deibert, a deputy director of CPS’ parent agency.
Religion??? Religion my A$$! This is a clever ruse designed to allow sex-offender pedophiles to get their rocks off with multiple young girls without getting in trouble for it. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt if the women of their cult were allowed to have multiple husbands, but NO, that’s not what it’s about. It’s all about these creepy sexual deviants and their needs. Amazing the lengths they will go to (manufacturing a religious order) to satisfy their insatiable sexual desires. Unbelievable!
