This story highlights exactly why it’s important to support the Republican State Leadership Committee. The RSLC helps elect commonsense leaders like Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum, who pushed the legislature to pass this bill, and Republican Governor Charlie Crist, a former State Senator and Attorney General, who will sign the bill into law.
There’s just no better illustration of the positive, commonsense impact the RSLC has on electing America’s future leaders. Do you think it’s not vitally important for Republicans to win state and local races? Think again.
A new law waiting for Gov. Charlie Crist’s signature would allow victims of child pornography to sue people who download or transmit their images. The bill would allow the victims to sue for no less than $150,000 per image.
