If you’ve been following the Ohio situation of Democrat A.G. Marc Dann, you’ve no doubt seen the full spectrum of support to non-support coming from all corners. Recently it’s been reported that those calling for Mr. Dann’s ouster via impeachment are suddenly pulling back rather dramatically (he’s not getting any Evites to office parties, but you get the point). Those who toil on the SNS minute to minute would like to offer this little prediction. Marc Dann will not be run out of office – he knows he has big heels that can be dug in deep. We’re guessing that he has sent a message to Governor Strickland, ODP Chair Chris Redfern, and others in the IHMD fan club to back off, and let him politically wither, die, and fall with dignity. It wouldn’t be surprising for him to carry on for 30 more days, maybe make it to the first week of July, then quietly step aside with some statement about having done great things for Ohio, but time to refocus on family, blah, blah, blah. If we’re wrong – call us on it.
