Mark this one done. Hey – that’s punny! From Legal News Line:
Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff has a commanding lead ahead of his Democratic challenger, a poll indicates.
About four months Ahead of the November general election, Shurtleff leads Democrat Jean Welch Hill 68 percent to 17 percent, a Deseret News and KSL-TV poll shows.
In addition to Hill, Shurtleff faces a November challenge from Libertarian attorney Andrew McCullough.
The survey of 405 registered voters statewide shows that 13 percent of voters are undecided.
The poll, taken June 16-June 19, has a margin of error of plus or minus 5.5 percentage points.
Shurtleff, who is seeking a third term as attorney general, has a 72 percent job approval rating, with just 16 percent of Utahans disapproving of the Republican’s efforts, the poll shows.
