What is it about Democrats misuse of interns?
This time it’s in New Jersey, and it’s a $10 an hour
legislative intern who was tasked by her superiors to dive headlong into the
financial disclosure forms of Senators and Assembly members of both parties.
Harmless enough as it seems right? Heck, Democrats said the intern was
simply doing research to strengthen legislative disclosure
Well consider the following
from the Daily Record:
When asked what the $10-per-hour
intern had found and had suggested regarding disclosure, (Democrat Assembly majority
Spokesman Derek)Roseman sounded at a loss. He twice asked to talk on background
— which means not to be printed — but was told no.
He then said, "If you are not
willing to talk on background, I am just going to stick with my previous."
Bumped up against the fact that New Jersey’s financial disclosure
requirements are rather extensive, and you get something that has the makings
for an interngate.
