Republican A.G. nominee Mike Gibbons is surging on his well funded Democrat opponent, and incumbent Republican L.G. Peter Kinder continues to break away form this Democrat opponent. Missouri will be a key state to watch for state races in November.

Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, a Republican, was favored by 51 percent of those polled, compared with 35 percent for Democrat Sam Page, a state legislator. Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, a Democrat, also had 51 percent, compared with 40 percent for Republican nominee Mitchell Hubbard.
Survey respondents gave Democrat Chris Koster a lead over Republican Mike Gibbons for attorney general, 46 percent to 40 percent. Republican Brad Lager was pulling 45 percent to Clint Zweifel’s 37 percent in the race for state treasurer.
