It looks like things are going down hill for outgoing Democrat L.G. Beverly in her bid to become Governor. What’s worse (for Perdue!), Republican L.G. nominee Robert Pittenger’s campaign is hitting all of its marks and setting up for a big win in Novemer to replace Bev Perdue. Losing some big-mo at this stage of the race is bad news not only for Perdue and Robert Pittenger’s opponent, but the rest of the Democrat ticket as well. What’s next, GOP AG nominee Bob Crumley turning up the heat on Demorat incumbent A.G. Roy Cooper? Yep. From Red Clay Citizen:
There is still a high number of undecided voters, but it appears neither candidate can break through the low 40s. The polling for this race has been shockingly consistent, with very little fluctuation.
May – Perdue 43, McCrory 42
June – Perdue 43, McCrory 41, Munger 2
July – Perdue 43, McCrory 40, Munger 2
August – Perdue 43, McCrory 41, Munger 3
September – Perdue 41, McCrory 43, Munger 3
