John Ladenburg – Democrat politics as usual. Sound and fury signifying nothing. From The Seattle Times:
The Public Disclosure Commission dismissed a complaint by the state Democratic Party against Attorney General Rob McKenna that claimed radio and TV public-service announcements featuring McKenna, a Republican, were illegal campaign ads.
The decision by the state watchdog agency Friday found no evidence the ads, or PSAs, were improper.
Democrats complained that the ads warning about drunken driving, identity theft and Internet security should have been reported as campaign contributions. The ads were paid for by the liquor industry, a credit union and Comcast, the cable TV company.
