Indy Star Endorses GOP AG Candidate Zoeller

Republican Greg Zoeller has been a strong, although low-key, top assistant to an effective two-term incumbent, Steve Carter.

Much of Zoeller’s appeal derives from the fact that the attorney general’s office in Indiana has consistently placed professionalism over politics, a quality often missing in other states. Zoeller promises he would do the same during his tenure as the state’s top lawyer, and he has the record to support the claim.

Democrat Linda Pence is a successful trial lawyer, perhaps best known for leading the state’s investigation into the 1999 White River fish kill. Guide Corp. eventually settled with the state for $14.2 million.
