Sen. Glenn Coffee, R-Oklahoma City, thinks Republicans will run the State Senate after the Nov. 4 general election.
It would be the first time in history Republicans controlled the upper chamber.
Likewise, Senate Democratic Leader Charlie Laster of Shawnee thinks his party will come out on top or the Senate will remain tied with 24 Democrats and 24 Republicans.
“Really, there are four top-tier races,” said Laster, D-Shawnee. “The math is pretty easy. Whoever wins three out of four will be in the majority. If we split them two and two, we will still be tied.”
