This race is coming down to this weekend. You can’t assume for a minute that this race is over. Remember Greg Zoeller was up 10 pts back on October 11th, and now according to this poll, his lead has closed to 4pts. Democrats are coming home, and with the current political environment being what it is, nothing is certain. With the Obama wind at her back, Linda Pence gets more bang for her buck with undecided voters than Zoeller does. Your support of Greg and his campaign can be the key to voters hearing the differences about these two very different candidates or this important office. They do things differently in Indiana – and many say that Zoeller’s opponent doesn’t do them the “Hoosier Way”. Going into 2009, Hoosiers deserve a straight talking, honest, tell it like it is AG to guide the office through the next 4 years. You can be the difference. From the Capitol Watch Blog:
The Downs Center also polled the other two statewide races.
In the Attorney General’s race, Republican Greg Zoeller leads Democrat Linda Pence 46 percent to 42 percent. Republican Tony Bennett leads Democrat Richard Wood 45 percent to 41 percent in the race for Superintendent of Public Instruction.
What does all this mean?
