From the Billings Gazette:
Despite a sizable lead in campaign cash, the Montana Democratic Party is being outspent more than two-to-one in the race for attorney general.
The party has spent $145,730 on the campaign for Democratic attorney general candidate Steve Bullock. The Republican Party, meanwhile, has spent close to $388,000 on its candidate, Republican Tim Fox.
Those figures come from a campaign finance report the Montana Democratic Party filed last Thursday and information from Bridger Pierce, a spokesman for the Montana Republican Party. The Democratic report includes all spending from June 18 through Oct. 18.
