From Tulsa World:
Complementing a GOP takeover in the state Senate, Republicans gained a net four seats in the state House, according to unofficial election returns late Tuesday.
Democratic leaders in both houses blamed their losses on the “Obama factor” in Oklahoma, where Republican presidential candidate John McCain captured a large majority of the votes.
In the House, Republicans defeated Democratic Rep. Scott Bighorse in Pawhuska, with Eddie Fields, a rancher, taking over the seat. Republicans also were winning two open seats in southwestern Oklahoma and one in western Oklahoma but lost a seat in Stillwater.
