NJ: AG Takes On Governor’s E-mail Fight

There’s a comment made on the article (if you click on the read more link below) that brings up a great idea.  Have an independent government entity review the material in question, keeping the results private, and then if the info is deemed legally worthy of protection, or not – let that be where things rest.  From the Trentonian:

New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram will argue an appeal that e-mails Gov. Jon S. Corzine and his staff exchanged with a union leader he once dated should be kept private.

Milgram’s spokesman David Wald says the attorney general is arguing the case herself Thursday because it raises executive privilege issues important to the governor.
