Montana lawmakers made their first major decisions of the upcoming legislative session by choosing their leaders on Wednesday.
The Republicans chose Representative Scott Sales of Bozeman to be the party leader in the House, and former gubernatorial candidate Roy Brown to serve as whip in the state Senate.
Senator Bob Story of Park City, who is the new Senate President-elect, said that he’s pleased with the Senate’s newly-elected Republican Leadership.
