Congratulations to Republican State Auditor Phil Bryant on his victory in yesterday’s Republican Lieutenant Governor primary to replace outgoing Republican L.G. Amy Tuck. Bryant ran a hot race against Republican State Senator Charlie Ross for the right to face off against Democrat State Representative and trial lawyer Jamie Franks.
This will be probably be one of the most closely watched L.G. races this cycle – and by far the most expensive L.G. contest in Mississippi’s history.
Congratulations Phil – on to November.
