From McHerald.com:
Attorney General Jim Hood urged Mississippi parents and other consumers to check the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rating before purchasing computer or video games as gifts.
More than 50 percent of computer and video games are sold during the holiday shopping season, so it is important that shoppers make sure the games they give to young people are age and content-appropriate.
“Every Christmas I review the ratings to determine what is appropriate for my children,” said Hood. “I want other parents to know the ratings are as follows: EC/Early Childhood (ages 3 and older), E/Everyone (ages 6 and older), E10+ (ages 10 and older), T/Teens (13 and older), M/Mature (17 and older).”
