From Newsday.com:
State Senate Republicans yesterday re-elected Dean Skelos, of Rockville Centre, their leader for the legislative session beginning in January.
Skelos thanked his colleagues, saying in a statement, “While there is difficult work ahead, I appreciate the confidence they have placed in me and look forward to continuing to lead our conference forward.”
Skelos also currently serves as senate majority leader, a post he likely will have to relinquish in January.
