Oklahoma’s Democrat A.G. appears to be the king of equivocating. In one breath he says he’s going to declare his intention to run for Governor, and then in the very next breath he lays out all sorts of qualifiers. That reads like somebody who loves being on the public payroll. Take a chance Drew – be a leader for Oklahoma Democrats – embrace President-Elect Obama! From NewsOK:
At the end of the year, I’m going to change the ‘Office Sought’ designation on my Ethics Commission reports from attorney general to governor. … We’ll then spend 2009 kind of gauging the support that’s out there. If it’s sufficient, we’ll probably make an announcement late in ’09. That is still predicated on my belief that the poultry litigation will be resolved by September ’09 or shortly thereafter.
