Rest easy Illinois, Pennsylvania has it’s fair share of corrupt Democrats as well. Stay classy Colorado. From The Phoenix:
The Pennsylvania attorney general’s office is investigating a charity at the center of the ongoing corruption trial of a former state senator.
Citizens’ Alliance for Better Neighborhoods was founded in 1991 by aides to former Sen. Vincent Fumo with the mission of revitalizing Philadelphia communities. But investigators say it has become a favor bank for political insiders.
The group’s spending “raises red flags all over the place,” and it has spent thousands of dollars in ways “that have nothing to do with the operation of a charity,” Kevin Harley, a spokesman for Attorney General Tom Corbett, said.
