From the Morning Call:
You can add one more potential candidacy to the swirl of speculation coming out of last weekend’s annual Pennsylvania Society gala in Manhattan.
State Rep. Karen Beyer, R-Lehigh, said Monday that she’s ”very seriously considering” whether to seek the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor in 2010 and will make up her mind sometime in the next 60 days.
”I still have the legwork of talking to people,” said Beyer, 46, who was re-elected without opposition last month to a third term representing Allentown’s 131st District.
