Some mile high intrigue. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. From The Pueblo Chieftain:
Minority Leader Mike May delayed his exit from the Colorado House on Tuesday to deal with “outside influences” that may be trying to interfere with the leadership election to pick his replacement.
The Parker Republican, who surprised legislators last week when he announced he was resigning his leadership post and seat in the House to focus on his private business, rescinded that plan so he could deal with the situation.
But May said House rules prevent him from offering any details about what influences were affecting Friday’s planned vote for the House Republican Caucus to elect a new minority leader.
