When will Marc Dann just go away? Or maybe, when will he stop answering his phone and replying to emails from reporters? We wonder how his plate selling is going? From the Dayton Daily News:
The state agreed to pay nearly half a million bucks to the two women whose sexual harassment complaint last year led to a media frenzy, criminal and ethics investigations and the resignation of Attorney General Marc Dann.
New Attorney General Richard Cordray announced Wednesday, Jan. 21, that the state will pay $247,500 each to Cindy Stankoski and Vanessa Stout to settle their claim against Ohio. The deal also calls for ending their employment in the attorney general’s office: Stout resigned Dec. 19 and Stankoski resigned Jan. 21. They also agreed not to apply for any other state jobs.
“Cindy and Vanessa are pleased to finally put this behind them. It’s been a long and difficult time in their lives,” said their attorney, John Camillus.
Ohio’s own Glass City Jungle brings in some commentary on this one – when is $200k not enough, and when is $200k enough? Heck, it even made the Daily Muck over at TPM – way to go Dann.
