From Char-Koosta News:
Something interesting happens when mild-mannered Senate President Robert Story, Jr. raises his microphone to ask a question on the Senate floor: Both Democrats and Republicans quiet down and turn to listen.
Such was the case Wednesday, when the 56-year-old Park City farmer and Republican voted against a minor bill that just won 48 votes in the 50-member Senate. Before the vote could “locked in,” Story was granted permission to ask a question about the bill’s $51,000 price tag.
Molly Priddy writes on Session09 that Republican Leader Bob Story wants to accomplish things good things for the people of Montana – in a way that everybody can be proud of.
