The seat is still filled, but some of the city’s politically ambitious are already lining up to run for the State Assembly seat currently held by Minority Leader James Tedisco, R-Schenectady.
Their chance to run depends upon a particular alignment of events.
If Tedisco is successful in his bid for election in the 20th Congressional District recently vacated by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, at least two city Republicans will be among those vying to replace him.
