Continuing to scrub away at government is next on the list for lawmakers relieved to finally have former Gov. Rod Blagojevich out of the way.
Local legislators hope to advance what they say is the state’s cleanup effort by posting expenditures online, reforming campaign finance laws and making it possible for voters to recall elected officials on all levels.
Reviving the recall amendment tops the lineup, says state Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Hinsdale.
