Legislative Republicans rolled out their own proposal Tuesday to pave the way for underground storage of carbon dioxide, saying it’s vital to help boost coal development in Montana.
“Montana has been so blessed with coal reserves, and we want to do everything we can to make sure that we responsibly develop our natural resources,” said Sen. Keith Bales, R-Otter, who will sponsor the bill.
