From the Denver Post:
Josh Penry, the crown prince of the state Republican Party, is standing before a room of local GOP kingmakers, telling them what the party should be about. It’s the biggest crowd the Arapahoe County Republican Men’s Club has seen in months at its weekly gathering.
“Since when did rugged individualism become untrendy?” he riffs after a question. “Rugged individualism is still cool. And we should make a case for it. They want to tell you how to live. We want you to decide for yourself how to live.”
The crowd applauds. A man stands up and says, “When you open a campaign office for governor, let us know.”
