Dem Wants to Challenge Republican for House Seat; Had to Move into District First

To challenge Rust, Miller had to move into the 86th district, which covers western Fairfax and areas of eastern Loudoun, including a portion of the Dulles district. Miller and his family moved to a townhouse in the eastern part of Loudoun in February, but still own their home in Broadlands.

“I still have stake in the ground there,” he said, adding, however, that moving is a part of his life. Miller traveled all over the U.S. and Japan as the son of a Navy admiral in before his family settled in Northern Virginia.

“I enjoy getting to know a new community and new people,” he said. “And I’m thrilled to be in this one.”
