Alabama has been very well served by Republican Secretary of State Beth Chapman. Her record is outstanding, and we predict Alabama voters will reward her with another term as Secretary of State. From Montgomery Advertiser:
Secretary of State Beth Chapman announced Monday, her 47th birthday, that she will run for re-election as the state’s chief election official in 2010.
Chapman, a Republican, had discussed the possibility of running for other offices including lieutenant governor. Democratic Lt. Gov. Jim Folsom Jr., announced last week he was running for re- election and not running for governor.
She said she decided to run again for secretary of state because of her staff and because of her passion “for what we do every day” to help people vote and to help the businesses that interact with her office.
