Oh, there are at least three (we have heard six total) other names in the mix for this freshly opened AG position on GOP side. There won’t be a shortage of Democrats either. From AJC:
Democratic state Rep. Rob Teilhet of Smyrna made it official on Monday: He’s running for attorney general.
Attorney General Thurbert Baker, a Democrat, announced last week that he is leaving to run for governor. On Monday, Teilhet filed paperwork allowing him to raise money for the race. Teilhet is the first candidate from any party to enter the race for attorney general.
