How much of an extreme makeover will Jack Conway need to win the Democrat primary? From the Courier-Journal:
U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, a Louisville Republican, frequently tells a story that he repeated last month at a Lincoln Day Dinner in Corbin.
While campaigning in Bell County in 1990 against former Louisville Mayor Harvey Sloane, he met a man who predicted a victory for him.
“And I said, ‘I’m sure glad to hear that. Why?’ (The man replied) ‘You know that feller, Sloane, why, he’s from Louisville.’ ”
