From BaldwinCountyNow.com:
Greg Albritton on Tuesday captured the state Republican Senate District 22 primary to replace Pat Lindsey, D- Butler, who died in January.
In unofficial returns, Albritton received about 57 percent of the votes to defeat Mobile business owner Judy Belk and Danny B. Joyner, a Brewton native and former lieutenant at the Brewton Police Department.
Albritton will face Marc Keahey, D-Grove Hill, in the June 2 general election.
The Alabama Republican Party estimated voter turnout at about 6 percent for the district, which encompasses all or part of Baldwin, Mobile, Escambia, Conecuh, Monroe, Clark, Choctaw and Washington counties.
